Can LastPass be used in Linux?
Just started using Linux Mint 18.1 after many years in Windows. Can I use LastPass to keep track of my passwords?
Thanks for any help.

I use keepass without issue. It probably depends on whether or not it is in your repositories?

Site passwords, yes?
System Passwords? Wrong tool.

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lastpass/
Arch linux user repository has a command line utility for interacting with Lastpass.

I use keepassx, which is in the Mint repos (as is keepass2), so that's yet another alternative for you.
If you run the Software Manager in Mint and search for "pass" then you'll see several options.

Yep. Their browser extension is 100 percent cross platform.

crgibson,
I see you have solved this.
For anybody else who comes across this thread in the future, they may find this info of use:
KeePass:
http://keepass.info/
Ubuntu & Linux Mint:
http://www.pcsteps.com/3544-install-...x-mint-ubuntu/
PPA for KeePass 2:
https://launchpad.net/~jtaylor/+archive/ubuntu/keepass
Code:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:jtaylor/keepass -y
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install keepass2 -y
KeePass is a fully featured password manager that includes random password generation, support for desktop application passwords, and additional security features such as two-factor authentication. Various plug-ins provide additional functionality.
KeePass review:
https://www.bestvpn.com/blog/27121/k...sword-manager/
LastPass bought by LogMeIn for $110m:
http://www.zdnet.com/article/lastpas...r-110-million/
Note that many LastPass customers are leaving since the change of ownership to LogMeIn. This is mainly because LogMeIn previously ruined another popular product, Hamachi, which they acquired earlier.

It's a browser plugin, for browser sites.
If you want something for Linux passwords, check out pass in the repos.
