Question Can I upgrade RH9 to kernel 2.6?

Hi,

Do I have to get my updates from RedHat's site? RedHat seems to be offering kernel version 2.4.x for RedHat 9.

Can I get kernel 2.6 and install it on RH9?

I dont think so, but you can get your own kernel from http://www.kernel.org and compile it for your system. There are a lot of howto's on this site, search for them.
