Can I launch install cds from dos?

My laptop can swap the floppy and the cd rom, but both cannot be installed at the same time.

I'm wondering if there is a file I can copy from my windows desktop machine onto what is now the bootable dos c: drive on the laptop so that I can execute that file to launch the mandrake installer on CD?

I would appreciate if anyone knows where to look for instructions.

why dont you just insert the cdrom drive and boot from CD> ?

there is a program to load linux kernels from dos. This might help.

Get it off of the CDs you have in DOSUTILS ro equivalent.

Anyone have any ideas?
