Can I launch install cds from dos?
My laptop can swap the floppy and the cd rom, but both cannot be installed at the same time.
I'm wondering if there is a file I can copy from my windows desktop machine onto what is now the bootable dos c: drive on the laptop so that I can execute that file to launch the mandrake installer on CD? I would appreciate if anyone knows where to look for instructions. |
why dont you just insert the cdrom drive and boot from CD> ?
there is a program to load linux kernels from dos. This might help. Get it off of the CDs you have in DOSUTILS ro equivalent. |
setup.exe equivalent?
Forgot to add, my cd player is not bootable. (It's pretty old)
