can i install canon lbp driver cd in linux mint-16

i have completely shifted from windows xp to linux mint 16 recently, i have a canon lbp 2900b printer which i was using previously in windows pc, can i install the same cd driver now or should i download driver compatible with linux mint

Hi,

you need the ppd file corresponding to this printer. Then configure cups to use that file.
