Question Can I have OSS4 and Alsa drivers installed at the same time...........

Can I have OSS and Alsa drivers installed at the same time and switch between the 2 sound systems via sound & multimedia? There are things I love about the 2 and things I don't like.

You can have both compiled as loadable modules in your kernel loadable module library. You cannot run them both at the same time. You will have to use the modprobe command to load and remove the sound modules you want to use at any given time.
