Can I change icon size in Nemo sidebar?

Is it possible to change icon size in Nemo sidebar? They are too small.

If so, how can I do it?

developers have no interest in making this configurable via preferences
it is still possible to get some information, and possibly some custom CSS, by starting nemo like this:
