can i change com 3 to com 2?

I have 2 controller cards installed in my pc using Ubuntu 7.04

I just check in the Device manager, and both cards seem to be installed

1 serial device /dev/ttyS0 serial port 0(0x0) com port 1
2 serial devide /dev/ttyS2 serial port 2(0x2) com port 3

The programs that I use have only options for com 1 and com 2.

Can I change com 3 to com 2? if yes how?

Thanks in advance

You might be able to change com3 to com2 in your BIOS.
