Can I apt-get games?

I am running Mint 8 XFCE, and I want to get the game CloneKeen (or something like that, it is a clone of the old DOS game). It is not in the repositories for this distro (I first found it in Fedora).

I can download the zip file here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/clonekeen/, but I do not know how to install it once I have saved it. So can I apt-get it? Or should I save the .zip file on my computer and then run a command to install it?

Please help, I am still pretty new to Linux, and I want this game.

Post The ReadMe has the instructions

Download the zip and open it, there's a readme file with instructions:

Quote:
Compiling the game on Linux/UNIX:

* Copy makefile.lnx to makefile
* Chmod the 'g' script so it's executable
* Run make
* Issue ./g, this will copy the produced executable to the bin directory
and run it.
* You must have the binary distro as well in order to use the produced exe.

For all compilation platforms you will need to already have SDL-devel
installed and working.
From the sound of the end you'll need to:
Code:
apt-get SDL-devel
cp makefile.lnx makefile
chmod +x g
make
./g
But I don't follow what they mean by:
Quote:
* You must have the binary distro as well in order to use the produced exe.
