Can Delete a File

Help, I just installed Mandrake Linux 9.2 on my computer and a file named dynamic_dev_v4l_video0_dynamic.desktop will not let me delete it. It is for Gnomemetting and I removed that becase I have no use for it but I just can't get rid of this file mo matter what!

Well what does it say? Are you trying as root?

It says:
Access denied to /usr/share/apps/kdesktop/Desktop/dynamic_dev_v4l_video0_dynamic.desktop
and I don't know how to delete form the root

He meant 'log in as the user root, then delete the file'.
