Hi i am a very linux newbie i have it now for one day it is cool but difficult

I have a USB ADSL modem called --> ASUS USB ADSL Modem
1) Where to i have to configure him --> isdn, modem, network, dsl
2) how do i have to to it , i already have the linux drivers but i don't know how to install them i putted them in a file on my desktop, inside it are several maps but i don't know how to install them and where plsss help me so i can get on the WWW

then mùy sound card i have configured it i hear linux sounds like "doing", "ding" but when i try to play a music CD or file i don't hear nothing at all :'(

my sound card is VT82C686 AC97 audio controller that is the one he detected by himself plsss help me what do i have to to and explain with details i really don't now nothing from linux Sorry and THXXXXXXXXX alot

welll ... i don't know anything about usb-modems, but, what distribution are you using ?
most distro's have a forum on this site.....you can do a forum-search for 'usb modem ',
or try google ( often you'll come back to this site )
