Can't print to Linksys print server

I'm finding it difficult to print. I am running a printer off of a print server.
Printer:
Epson stylus cx-6400

Print server:
Linksys PSUS4

I'm running Suse 9.1 Pro, and I am a supreme Noobie. The kde desktop works great, and I'm getting email, but I have been unsuccessful trying to print.

Maybe I should try and configure outside of KDE control panel, via terminal.

I know it's user error. I have not configured correctly. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

Joe

Thanks for your reply.

I followed your directions. The IP address worked out the first time, but on the second attempt to install, the network access was not properly configured or the printer server is unknown or inaccessible. On the queue name screen, when I tried the test printing button, nothing happened. On the next screen, my model and make of printer were included on the menu.

I'm not sure where the problem is.

Upon closer inspection,

It looks like when I try to print the Linux test page, it enters the queue, but for some reason doesn't print. When I try to print from other network sites, the printer doesn't respond, because it stuck trying to print the Linux Test Page. If I abort the test page and then unplug power to the server, it is only then that the printer will begin to take other requests for printing. I'm running a couple of windows machines on this, along with a mac, and they work ok. It seems that Linux command is reaching the server, but then something is lost in the translation to the printer head.

Any ideas about how to get this printer to recognize Linux?

Thanks,

Joe
