Can't install nvidia-detect from El Repo -Requires: libpci.so.3

Hello
Fresh Centos 7 + MATE install and so far have managed to install Nvidia drivers.
Several issues and questions but first am unable to install nvidia-detect after properly installing the El Repo repository.

After a
Code:
sudo yum install nvidia-detect
I get (partial output)
Code:
Error: Package: nvidia-detect-375.20-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64 (elrepo)
           Requires: libpci.so.3(LIBPCI_3.5)(64bit)
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
Any feedback appreciated!

OP
Apparently you need to enable CR repo. But I still can't install other apps like ffmpeg, vlc, etc without errors

With nvidia, I had better luck by grabbing the installer directly from geforce.com. With multimedia apps, I think you need to enable a repo that ends in .ro. I am not sure about that though.

Yup, you have to add the repo for vlc and other software that yum doesn't know about.
