can't change workspace! (lInuxmint 6), I see the spaces in the icon, help.

I can see 4 spaces but clicking with mouse of the keyboard short cut does not work to change.

I can send application to "move to workspace to right" and I see it move but can't get into the right workspace. Help!, on another desktop computer with the same linuxmint 6, works fine.

I have asked the same question on the linuxmint forum but no solution.

Have you tried the keyboard shortcuts, ctrl + alt + <right/left arrow keys> ?

yes, it does not change the workspace. help!
