Unhappy Can't access internet on openSUSE 10.3

Hey all,

Lastnight I installed openSUSE Linux 10.3. It works but at the moment I can't access the internet on it. I have installed Linux several times before but have never had any problems with it being unable to access the internet.

I currently have my computer set up with Windows Vista and openSUSE 10.3 on a dualboot system and the internet works just fine when I boot up on Vista. My modem is a broadband ADSL Telstra modem and I have a Belkin router connected to it which is currently what my computer is connected to.

I opened up Konsole and ran the command 'ifconfig -a' and these were the results:

RX bytes:172176 (168.1 Kb) TX bytes:172176 (168.1 Kb)

Any idea what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.

Nevermind. It turned out that in the YaST Network Settings, it was set up as "Traditional method with ifup" instead of User controlled with NetworkManager.
