can't view file in konsole
 

'lo guys
i'm back with a new problem, i can't seem to view files like inittab when i'm using a terminal.for example when i enter:

cat inittab

i get :

bash: /bin/cat: cannot execute binary file

is there any program that i need to install for me to make this command work again?i'm using redhat linux 9

Are you doing this as user or root?
Is the path to inittab defined (either in $PATH or by your cd-ing there)?
Is your /bin/cat executable?
