Can't updated to ubuntu 7.10 from ubuntu 7.04
 

I burned the ubuntu 7.10 alternative cd and ran the update. However, I got some errors.

Could not download the upgrades

The upgrade aborts now. Please check your internet connection or installation media and try again.

...some fetching mismatch error...(there are a lot of error, so I don't post it in here)

Please help me out

I suggest that you post the exact text of at least one of the errors. 'some fetching mismatch error' does not mean anything.

A possible cause (not sure) can be that it looks for repositories on the internet. These no longer exist where it is looking for them as 7.10 is no longer supported.
