can't untar...


[root@baitas cs]# tar zxvf hlds_l_3111_full.tar.gz
hlds_l/
hlds_l/engine_i386.so
hlds_l/hlds_run
hlds_l/linuxreadme.txt
hlds_l/tfc/
hlds_l/tfc/motd.txt
hlds_l/tfc/pak0.pak
tar: Skipping to next header

gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--crc error

gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--length error
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors


why I can't unat this file ?

because the file is corrupt I would say. Try downloading it again.

i agree that i think the file is corrupt. did they provide a md5sum that you can check?

the file isn't corrupted, because in windows I can extract this archive...
