Can't Start XF86, and do you like POGO?
Hello, I have two issues here, first I was navigating linux (RH 8.0) in the gnome desktop, and change the screen resolution to 1500 X ????, I don't remember, it was at first at 1260 X 760, something like that, but anyway, when I log out and login again, the graphical interface couldn't start, it says, X server couldn't start, starting with a fresh configuration.
What can be the problem here, I think the monitor doesn't support that scren resolution, so what can I do? The other issue is about the POGO software, does anyone have tried it? is it good? Thanks |
ok, forget about the XF86, I figure it out by rm in the /etc/XF86/XF86Config and put the XF86Config.backup, rename it to XF86Config
What about POGO? read it at www.linux.com |
