Can't start my Computer
My computer will not start up it say's -bash: id: command not found and some other lines after that can anybody help?

We're going to need a lot more information that that. Computer, Distro, lines before and after the error, which Bootloader, How far into the boot it gets. etc., etc.
|
What exactly...
The computer goes through the POST sequence and then what happens exactly? Are you using a desktop or booting into runlevel 3? What are any error messages you receive? More information is needed. http://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/...Ask_a_Question |

Ah, okay; thats fair enough. Its not id where the problem is (Thats a problem with your $PATH).
The problem is where it tries to handle PCI stuff. Whats in your PCI slots? |

Though it occurs to me, I never asked you the important one. What happens? Does it stall at some message? What is the last thing you see on the screen before you have to reboot? |

Keyboard keys

And what might they have to do with PCI slots?
|
I don't know, ask the OP. Presumably OP was unsure on what a PCI slot was, or has his/her wireless card in one and one of these buttons controls that.
Its not a big jump in logic to assume OP is unsure or confused, this is why we ask questions of course. |

So to clarify,
Code:
pciehp: cannot add device 0x3:0 |

Has it always done this? Or have you changed something recently? Did it always do that autologin?
