can't run ubuntu. New acer notebook without operacional system

Hello!

I've bought a notebook (ACER travelmate 117 B) without operacional system.
I created a pen drive with UBUNTU 16.04 through Linux Live USB Creator (LILI). Then I stick it in the notebook. But it didn't work.
I tested at another notebook and run normally.

What I have is a screen with 2 options:
1) "start acer_linux" [when I enter, an dark blue screen shows and thats it]
and 2)troubleshooting --> "star acer_linux in basic graphics mode". Then I enter and appears:
localhost login root (automatic login)
[root@localhost ~]#

I imagine this is already linux running, but I don't know what to do there.

When I turn it off and restart and enter at the prompt device, I have:"minimal bash-like line editing is supported" and then "you need to load the kernel first".

Why I can't just install the pendrive version? What should I do? Please, help!

Are you sure you're booting from your Ubuntu USB stick? You refer to "acer_linux" which implies some other Linux was possibly installed on your hard drive and not completely removed (hence no kernel) No idea what "Acer_Linux" is.
Can you get to a boot menu to ensure you're booting from USB?

Then again... It may be a UEFI issue which someone with more knowledge of it than I will no doubt help you with.

Play Bonny!

Is this a new Acer or used?
When you first start the machine, you should see a message at the bottom of the screen telling you which key to use to enter BIOS or setup, probably F2. You should not see the message you posted if you are booting from the USB if you downloaded the standard desktop iso. You might try typing startx at the prompt you show. I've never heard of "acer_linux' either so I'm not sure what that is about.
