Can't run Kylix EXE from KDE desktop

I'm using Linux 7.2 and Kylix 2 as a development IDE. I've written a small application which will just show a caption on a button click event. I created a shortcut of this application within KDE desktop but it's running if i click on it.

Application runs fine if i press F9 from Kylix IDE.

Can anybody help me regarding this.

I used to have the same problem.

Try to run it from the console and check the error message.
