can't read installation cd

I've downloaded the 3 mandrake 9.1 image files and have burned it every way from sundown, still I get the error message "The CDROM disc does not seem to be a Mandrake Linux Installation CDROM" I have Roxio EZ CD Creator 5.20 on my dell system and used the "create CD from CD image" and it looks like it copies the file over O.K. file (mandrake91-cd1-inst.i586) the file checks out fie with the md5 checksum, so why do I keep getting this error message. Are we supposed to prep the file, something to make this a readable installation disk? I've used iso9660 and Joilet format and no luck. I would guess the ez cd creator finalizes the cd because the option is always grayed out.
Any words of wisdom would help, the readmes don't seem to help either. Oh, I'm using the 9.2 floppy boot and wonder where are those 9.2 Mandrake images?

You want to use the create CD from image option. i.e from the pull down menu select file | create CD from ISO image. Select filetype of ISO and select the ISO file you want to burn. When finished burning look at the CD, it should have all sorts of directories and files, not just the one iso file.

The first CD is bootable but if you want to create a 9.1 boot floppy you can. If window is setup for autorun CD then a mandrake window should pop up. Select to create a boot floppy then select the /images directory from the cd and then select cdrom image. Installation documentation can be found at Mandrake's website.

Well I found the finalize option under "Record Cd" options and I am using iso for type and the file keeps copying over as one large file, hmmmmm maybe I grabbed the wrong file? Don't think so with a name like "Mandrake91-cd1-inst.i586. Man this makes about cd #7 to toss in the trash. Maybe something is wrong with
Roxio? I also only have the option to save as a project, then record to CD from CD image under file. Any other ideas?
Going nuts along the way! : )

The file should be named mandrake91-cd1-inst.i586.iso. Are you selecting "create CD from ISO"?
