can't play DVDs or VCDs


HI!

i just installed RH9 and I can't play DVDs or VCDs. However, I can browse files on the cd but can't play them.

I'm just a newbie on this so any suggestions are highly appreciated..

go get the REAL versions of the software you are using, e.g. http://mplayerhq.hu as redhat deliberatly made it impossible to play dvd's....

Have you tried MPlayer ?

no, I haven't. I'll try it and see if it works for me.
