Can't open my folders


My folders won't open and i don't know why or what happened what will i do?

Which operating system, and which desktop environment are we talking about here?

For example: Fedora 14, Gnome.

Folders won't open

you need to provide some more information.

Which distro (version of Linux, Windows) are you using?
Are you logged in as a normal user?
Did it work before and suddenly stop working?

Sorry, can't really help otherwise.

Well my os is Linux ubuntu and i use gnome.
It suddenly stop working after downloading some files.

are you logged on with a user who has permission to open that folder?

If you try opening that folder, what is the message that you get? (post it here so we can see)

can you show then how you open the file or folder?
can you also show the permissions and with which user you are logged on with?

Some distros might have "ll" as an alias for this, but many don't.
