can't mount partition
I have a NTFS partition and a Linux partition. My problem is that I can't mount the 'windows XP' partition so I can read the files that are in Windows. I receive an error message that it (ntfs filesystem) cannot be supported by the kernel.
I know that I can't write/delete/modify files from that partition, but I excepted to be able to read them at least. How can I mount ntfs partition and cd-rom permantly? I don't want to mount them every time I log in Linux Thank you |
you really should make sure of a few things before posting your questions.
1. this is the wqns forum 2. this has been asked many times before so you should have searched. 3. google would have given you your answers. Please take care of these things. Regards. |
