Can't Mount CDROM-Please Help!

Hello,
I am having trouble with Linux detecting my cdrom...During installation it worked fine but when I type the command mount my cdrom does not appear..any help or tips will be greatly appreciated..

Can you post some more information on the drive. Is it IDE or SCSI? Who is the manufacturer? Is it a read only CDrom? or is it a RW?

What type of CD were you trying to mount?
