Can't make nforce2 LAN work
I can't make the onboard nic of my 8RDA+ work
I've installed the latest nVidia driver but it still doesn't work, do I have to do any additional config?

Slack 9.0
kernel version: 2.4.20
mobo: EP-8RDA+
processor XP1600+
512 MB RAM
ATI Radeon 8500

i'm pretty sure slackware does things different to redhat, so hopefully a slack user will give your equivalent. but on redhat / mandrake you'd have an entry in /etc/modules.conf saying "alias eth0 nvnet". try just running "modprobe nvnet" to temporarily get it going (run "lsmod" to check it's there) and then if you start the net service it should come up ok.
