Unhappy Can't Log In to my linux partition - "Themes can't load" linux 8.0

I have got a Dual boot of Windows XP and Linux 8.0, I installed NEDIT from a download off the Internet, When I booted my system back up There was a error message saying the thmese could not be loaded so I will try and load the default loader? or something close.

This has stopped me been able to log onto my linux, is there any way I can bypass the login screens or maybe re-install a theme so I can log on?

Thanks

Yeh I have tried booting from the Floppy I created upon Installation and have also tried updating packages with the installation CD but have had no luck.

I looked in the folder that contains the Themes through command line and there is one there called 'Bluecurve' but as I stated it just will not load.
