Can't locate module sound-service-1-0

How can I make modprobe stop attempting whatever it is attempting that results in this being repeated every 4 minutes in /var/log/messages:

modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-service-1-0

Seriously, every 4 minutes I'm seeing this. It's always been there, I'm just finally getting tired of it and would like to know what causes it and how to stop it permanently...

Any thoughts?

TIA...

Hi.

It looks like something's trying to access a second sound card on your system. This happens in KDE, when the 'Number of mixers to probe' is set above 1 (in Sound in kcontrol).

The messages are harmless, so I wouldn't worry about it.
