Lightbulb Can't install ndiswrapper from USB boot- no cd-r player.

Problem- Installed Ubuntu 8.10 from USB on computer with cd-rom that does not recognise cd-r (former Hewlett Packard corporate deal). So my burnt copy of Ubuntu is not available as a source for ndiswrapper to install a windows .inf driver. How do I install ndisrwapper without cd support? I have latest copy of ndiswrapper waiting on desktop. All support I researched points to cd as source. Sincere thanks in advance.

Just install ndiswrapper as you normally would, make then make install. If your talking about getting drivers, you can usually find them on the providers website. Just get on a different computer with an internet connection, download the drivers and put them on the flash drive.
