can't install mandrake 2007 power pack

it gives me error when trying to install mandrake 2007 power pack. it has a problem with my ck804 serial ata controller. I tried to instal with acpi=off and it did not work.
I've donloaded "NFORCE-Linux-x86_64-1.0-0310-pkg1.run" from the nvidia site and to load as third party driver of an usb stick but it didn't recognized the stick.

my system config is:
asus K8N4-E mb,1gb ram geil value,asus x1600 pro 512mb, hdd0 wd 250gb, hdd1 maxtor 80gb -this is in a nexstar3 external enclosure with esata, asus IDE dvd-rw

Try booting with linux noapic; that appears to work with earlier versions of Mandriva.

Try downloading the driver from the liveDVD and use that during install. I don't know whether this is possible at all but I really don't see many other options.
