Question Can't get Mandrake 9.1 online

It's been a long while for me using Mandrake and can't seem to get online. I'm running Mandrake 9.1 and trying to get online with Konqueror. I am connected to the internet through a LAN with a Linksys router. I also cant see my Linux box from my Win box. What am I doing wrong or what didn't I do correctly? Thanks all.

Did you run the Network and Internet setup in the Mandrake Control Center? I had this same problem a couple of hours ago.

Yeah I ran it but there were a couple of things that confused me. My ISP is wideopenwest and I'm not sure if I'm configuring my host name and other settings correctly. I'm in the Konsole now and when I tried to ping my other machines, I got an error saying "Network is unreachable". Any suggestions?

I know when I kept getting that I went in and entered my DSL router for my gateway and made my protocol DHCP. I don't know if this is going to help you.

Also try making your eth0 and eth1 ports static by using your IP address at the startup for the Wizard. That's what worked for me.
