can't get GMIC plugin for GIMP

I got it on my other computer (which is 64 bit). This computer is 32 bit (Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid) and I went to the terminal and entered:

sudo apt-get install gmic

It installed. But when I went to use it I couldn't select a filter. (see screenshot)

So I installed it from the Ubuntu Software Center.

Still no luck.

I read the read-me in the gimp_gimp_linux32.zip file. It said to add the gmic_gimp file to the plugin's folder in .gimp2.8. I did that.

No luck.

Can you tell me how to get it? (Or if I have it, how to get it to allow me to select a filter.)

Thanks.

Figured it out. I was clicking on the words in the select area when I needed to be clicking on the little arrows next to them. (Sheesh!)
