can't find/use DFF on kali linux
Hello,
I am trying to use the DFF (Digital forensics framework) on kali linux but i can't find it. also i can't seem to be able to download it.
i don't like doing forensics without a gui since it can get confusing working hundreds of files on the terminal. Is there a way to get DFF on kali? otherwise iare there any other gui based forensics tools

I see the source available on GitHub. A suggestion would be to download the source, and for a couple of reasons: - The project is discontinued, the company which created it, is closed
- Rather than try to install something no longer supported using a repository, which may or may not match your Kali Linux distribution, I'm thinking it is better to compile the source to work on which ever particular machine you are using. This way the software you prefer can maybe serve you and be available long after it's availability has gone away, per #1

I see,
that's unfortunate, now I don't see any forensics tool still available except Autopsy, however its browser based and I am not sure how secure it is.
are here any other GUI tools for this sort of work?
