can't find ldap library on Ubuntu Server 12.04
 

Hi,

I wonder if anyone might be able to help me. I have just installed openldap on ubuntu server 12.04 by running the following command

$ sudo apt-get install slapd ldap-utils

I am having difficulty in locating the ldap library (libldap-2.4-2) after the installation.

I already checked in the /etc/ldap folder and all in there are ldap.conf, sasl2, schema and slapd.d

I already used the search function from the ubuntu GUI but to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

dpkg -L libldap-2.4-2
... will show a file list.
