can't find DVD drive

just loaded a brand new machine, and when I look in fstab or do a df I do not see my DVD drive. I use the DVD to install centos so figured it would mount it by default. where should I look to find it? I looked in /mnt and it is empty

OK, I see a /dev/cdrom which I think is the same as /dev/sr1. Do I just need to go into /mnt and mkdir a cdrom directory, then do a mount /dev/cdrom (or /dev/sr1) /mnt/cdrom?

Not sure which one to do. Or what I need to add into fstab so it mounts it automatically when I reboot the server.

Also, does this mean I did something wrong during the CentOS gui install since it's not already showing up?

I don't use CentOS so I'm not really sure but in many Linux distributions, when you put a CD/DVD with some data on it in the drive, it will show up in the /media directory. Easy thing to check, it that's not it someone more familiar will probably post.
