can't figure out how to install xfce themes (gentoo)
okay, I'm not a complete n00b to Linux, but I definitely have a LOT to learn. I was getting tired of gnome (even though I did like it) so I decided to try something new. Hence, I started using XFCE4. I really like it, except for one thing. I can't figure out how to install themes for it. I tried installing to /usr/share/xfce4/themes but when I went to my settings to change the theme, it didn't show up there. Is there more to it than just untarring to that directory, or is something going wrong?
Thanks, Kristen |

any ideas? I'm at a complete loss. |
Maybe this will work for you:
http://www.xfce.org/index.php?page=d...lang=en#themes Look at #10: "I've installed gtk-xfce-engine-2, but the themes do not appear in the "user interface" settings dialog. Why ?" |
