Thumbs up Can't disable Kernel Warning messages to terminal

Hi,
I have a program that produces kernel warning messages of the form:

<4>[DISP] unsupported video mode 17

for the video modes it does not support. However, these messages interfere with the normal program's output, mixing up the program's output lines and the warning lines.

I even tried using such drastic settings as:

echo "1 1 1 1" > /proc/sys/kernel/printk

But this does not work; I keep getting the <4> level messages.

How to disable these ???
