Can't delete old history in gstreamer

I'm new to Gnu/Linux, I never heard of it. But I'm really enjoying it. This is the first problem I have encountered that I haven't found the answer from looking around. I hope you guys can help:o

ubuntu 9.04 I can't remove the old history in totem-gstream movie maker. I deleted the movie files inside another program. Ive uninstalled the program from the Synaptac Manager and reinstalled after reboot, opened the program and the old history is still there. You can't play the videos because the files have been deleted. I've searched for the paths but have been unable to find them. I suppose I could try to use another movie program, but I hate to get beat....

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/totem-gstreamer
NonfreeKernelModules: ath_hal
Package: totem-gstreamer 2.26.1-0ubuntu5
ProcEnviron:
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: totem
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-14-generic x86_64

OK, they are just "History" files.

That's OK too. The files no longer exist.

As I said, it's "History".

You are correct.

Of course, because you deleted them.

Why would you want to do that?

What is it that is not working?

Most "History" or "Open Recent" file lists span only 5-10 entries. When you open a few new files, the old ones will drop off the end of the "Recently opened" list.

If you have been watching Pr0n and don't want your files to show up, don't give your partner your password. Do give them their own login and password, and check that the permissions on your /home/username directory are set to 700. Then only you care what is in your "history" files.
