Can't connect to the net via wifi

Greetings, i'm a newbie and just install maya 13 to my t400s lenovo laptop.
The problem I'm facing rigth now is my connectivity thru my wireless network.
I can get the IP (DHCP) alright but I can't even ping the gateway. I'm now using
the wired ethernet and it's working fine. Is there any settings that I need to do
to be able to use the wifi?

what is your card spec?
Please show the output of
lspci -n
lsusb
dmesg (part with the wifi recognition)
ifconfig
iwconfig
here.
If its a broadcom (b43?), I remember I saw today there are few issues with it in Maya13 for making it working from the first time (see the linux mint announcement on their homepage).
