Can't configure network

I'm new in Linux and I'm using Red Hat 8 and I just bought this Ethernet card. It works well in Windows but I can't use it in Linux. When I run 'ifconfig' in the terminal, I don't get the eth0 paragraph. I only get the lo paragraph. I also can't activate eth0 in the network configuration. Also, when I run 'service network restart', everything is ok but I still can't ping the network.

Do I need some driver to use my network card?

Been a while since I last used Redhat, but if your card is supported and you have kudzu (?) running, it should pick up during the boot any hardware changes you've made. Try running:

as root to see what happens. Please note, I've not used Redhat for a while, so it may not be very accurate

Good luck!
