[SOLVED] Can't choose solid color for background in 18.04LTS

Can't choose solid color for background in 18.04LTS
It wants to make me choose something from the Home folder or the Xubuntu backgrounds with the funky designs. I choose "other" in the top menu and "solid colors" in the bottom but it doesn't follow through.

Go to Settings, select "Desktop". In the first tap "Background" make sure that the "style:" is set to "none".
Then select "Colour" and choice the colour that you wish to use.
Thanks seven. But that link was for Ubuntu and I've got Xubuntu. I still can't get it to work.
You didn't state you used Xubuntu, just "18.04 LTS". All flavors of Ubuntu share the same version within a release. When asking a question, you need to provide as much info as possible so folks can better help.
