Hi michaelsil1!!!

Did you change the boot sequence on your bios to CD first?. Can your bios allow that feature?. If not, you will need to great some boot disks...

michaelsil1 04-08-2004 06:01 PM

I can set the CD to boot first, however it doesn't matter it should boot whether it's first or second and yes it is burned as an ISO image DOS reads it as a ISO I can't boot it from DOS either unless you can think of the command I could not.

Oh; how can I create the right boot disk"

Mega Man X 04-08-2004 07:15 PM

If dos sees it as an .iso, then you've burned it wrong, because it should not stand .iso. Nero you said:
  • fire up nero
  • don't be afraid, call the wizard
  • Choose "CD";
  • click "next";
  • Choose "compile new CD";
  • Choose "Other CD Formats";
  • Create a CD from Image File;

Now, browse through your files and choose you .iso image. Then burn as usually. That CD should be bootable. The "CD to boot" first on your bios matter. If your CD is set as second boot device and your hard-drive as the first, it won't check the CD...

Good luck!

nero express version 5,5,9,9 ( came with a burner I purchased ) has been working for me.

I choose the "copy entire disk" option.
