Can't access the linux share from windows 2008 server

Hi,

I added my SUSE 11 linux server into the Active Directory. My smb.conf looks like this on my linux server:

[global]
workgroup = CORPORATE
realm = CORPORATE.INGRAMMICRO.COM
security = ADS
map to guest = Bad User
printcap name = cups
logon path = \\%L\profiles\.msprofile
logon drive = P:
logon home = \\%L\%U\.9xprofile
cups options = raw
encrypt passwords = yes
usershare max shares = 100

[test]
comment = For testing only, please
path = /export/samba/test
read only = no
public = yes
guest ok = yes

But I am unable to access this test share from windows 2008 server.

Please help on this.

Thanks,

Ram

There should be an error in /var/log/samba/smbd.log which tells the reason.
If there is nothing there, then no request made it to Samba.
Also check /var/log/messages for any related issues.

You may would try in the smb config under [test] the option "valid user = " Also try the command "testparm"
