OK, that file doesn't exist. You see four posts up:

That must be a typo, take the file that is actually shown when you run ls -la /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg* , put cat in front of it and hit enter.

Better yet, type cat /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth-id, then hit tab. The full file should pop up on that line, then hit enter and paste the output on this forum.
