caming on stickam

hello im trying to get my cam to work on stickam. i have a asus Eee pc 8G with built in cam it works but wont on stickam or amsn only for pic or video rec. was wondering if there was a patch or update i need. i am running linix. kinda lost please help thanks... o.O\\//

If you are running linux on an un-tweaked EEE it is probably xandros linux, which is OK, but basically rubbish if you want to update it or play with it, or add things to it.

I have ubuntu 10.04 running well on my ancient eee701 4G (with a big SD card). It took a while, but works very, very well.

Please read those links, especially about "Installing other linux distros on your EEE".

Welcome to LQ, but I think you need an EEE-specific site to get you started on the right path.
