calling file


hi,

i want to know how to call the other file in linux. example
i got this code that store into example1.sh
Code:
dmidecode | grep -i product | head -n1
and i want to store the data into other file like example2

can someone help me with this. thanks

Hi athrin,
Please clearly explain what you want to do. What i understood from your post is i think you want to store the output of your "example1.sh" to some other file. To do this mentioned below is one of the methods "dmidecode | grep -i product | head -n1 > example2.sh". For explanation do google "I/O Redirection". I hope this solves your problem.
