Unhappy C++ Kopete

I'm trying to install the new version of Kopete
But every time if I try I get this error:

C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check

I've just installed gcc-c++-3.4.3-3 RPM for i686 because I read somewhere it got to do something with C++.

Anyone an idea?

Ermen

I think it would be best to install the GCC compiler collection. Allthough I don't know Xandros, I have read somewhere that you can get gcc by using the command "apt-get install gcc" in a shell. But you will have to verify this for yourself.
Hope that helps.

What went wrong? The installation of gcc, or the installation of Kopete?

Ermen were you trying to install an rpm on Xandros? Xandros uses Debian (*.deb) packages.
