C++ Compiler in Mandrake Linux 9.2

this is probably a stupid question but where is the C++ compiler in mandrake linux 9.2 and what is it called??!?!?!!

It is called GNI gcc c and C++ compiler.

Type command:
Code:

g++ --version
gcc --version

If it is not installed use rpm command to install it. When you install development tools it should get installed.

g++ --version will tell you the version of g++ that's installed; it's not asking for the version of your distro. If you type that in and get 'g++: command not found' or something similar then it's probably not installed and you need to do so.
