busybox command works, same command within script says permission denied

Hi All,

I have this problem with a script on my Unslung NSLU2. I use transmissionBT for torrent up/downloading, it works perfect. I start the Transmission-daemon (transmission bittorrent daemon) with start-stop-daemon so I don't have to use root as an user.

This works if I use the command in the terminal (busybox). Everything works fine then.
But when I put the same command line in a script in the init.d dir then the same command line says Permission denied.

The script has been chmod'ed so it has all permission. what's going wrong? Why does a command function different from the shell and the script?

Please help,

Jeroen

Oh Sorry!

Here's the line:

start-stop-daemon -S -c trans:everyone -b -x /opt/bin/transmission-daemon -- -a *.*.*.* -g /trans/.config/transmission-daemon -w /public/

trans is the username, everyone the group.
-g argument tell transmission where the config files are and -w tells transmission to write the downloaded files to public.

So if I paste this line in my terminal it works perfect. If I put it in a script is says permission denied to use /trans/.config/transmission-daemon directory.

What I am I doing wrong?

ThankS!!!

Jeroen
